Cooking Instructions : 

  • There shouldn't be any need to add salt to the water as the beef is already brined in a very salty solution.
  • Add water so to cover the beef
  • Add an onion cut in half , a shake of whole peppercorns ,  1 bay leave
  • Best in a Slow cooker setting on high a minimum of 4 hours
  • Or on the stove, after the water boiled turn the heat to slow and cook for a minimum of 4-5 hours
  • Thinly slice and serve with potatos or cabbage or brussel sprouts ! 
  • The juice will be amazing and can be used as is or  to make gravy
